“We’ve had a tremendous show” was the verdict from Barcrest Group after a successful exhibition at IGE 2010. Tim Kennedy, Sales & Commercial Director, explained: “The stand was full of visitors and we saw all our key customers, as well as meeting potential new customers. There was a real buzz about the show and you could see how impressed visitors were with the products on offer.”
Barcrest Group showcased over 70 models at IGE 2010, with most of the titles making a debut at the show. Visitors seemed to be impressed by the quality and quantity of products available: “Barcrest Group had an incredible range of equipment, the best at the show” commented Michael Shipley of Shipley’s Leisure, while Mohammed Zabed of Mecca Bingo described Barcrest Group’s products as “far and away the most comprehensive product portfolio, surpassing our expectations. We will be introducing the new Category C titles throughout the entire Mecca estate as part of the ongoing success of ICONIC sb.”
The Triple 7 Encore cabinet was one of the highlights of the new product showcase. This stylish new sit-down version of the acclaimed Triple 7 cabinet features twin high definition 19” monitors, interactive game screen, serial communication and Ardac Elite note acceptor to casino standards and comes complete with matching seating. A range of eye-catching, themed accessories includes illuminated end panels, infill panels and multiplayer topboxes to create even more ‘theatre’. The Triple 7 Encore benefits from the same choice of games and ICONIC sb functionality as the original Triple 7, making it an ideal addition to enhance a venue’s gaming offer.
Building on the success of Community Gaming, which was established with the popular game Captain Jackpot’s Treasure Troves, Barcrest Group introduced more £70 community games, including the high-impact ‘Hot Rocks’, space-age ‘Money Mad Martians’ and ‘Rainbow Riches Party’ featuring the legendary and hugely popular Rainbow Riches theme.
Video Bingo games ‘Rainbow Riches Bonus Bingo’, ‘Captain Jackpot’s Bingo Booty’ and ‘Super Ball Bingo’, featuring gold progressive prizes starting at £2,000 received a high level of attention and interest at the show. The games were displayed in both the Triple 7 cabinet and the Triple 7 Encore as a multiplayer concept with its colourful plasma screen topbox promoting the unlimited progressive prizes. The three games, each with different profiles, are allowed in unlimited numbers in venues with a bingo licence, providing additional revenue streams and attracting new players.
Classic reel-based games Red Hot Roll and Super Streak were given a modern twist with the introduction of a community’ Celebration’ feature. Presented as £70 games in the Rio cabinet with eye-catching ‘wave’ topbox accessories, these games are ideal for bingo clubs and arcades looking to update their players’ favourite games with exciting new features.
Barcrest Group and sister company WagerWorks jointly presented the multichannel game Monty’s Millions, the first game to be simultaneously launched for customers in the land-based and remote gaming sectors. Monty’s Millions is a brand new title with thrilling random gameplay, available for UK gaming venues as Category B2, Category B3 and Category C games.
Overseas VLT markets were well catered for with a range of random, multistake VLT games presented in the Triple 7 and the Triple 7 Encore. New titles for the Czech and Italian markets were demonstrated at the show and created a high level of interest from European visitors.
